11. Data Deletion Policy
Reelax (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and providing clear instructions for deleting your personal data, including data obtained through integrations with Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
1. How to Request Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your Reelax account and associated personal data using any of the following methods:
Option A – In-App Deletion
Open the Reelax mobile application
Log in using your registered mobile number
Go to the Profile section
Tap on Delete Account
Confirm deletion
Once confirmed, your deletion request is automatically initiated.
Option B – Email Request (If You Cannot Access the App)
If you are unable to access your account, you may request deletion by emailing:
support@getreelax.com
Subject Line: Data Deletion Request
Please include:
Your registered mobile number
Your connected Instagram or Facebook username (if applicable)
We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Upon receiving a valid deletion request:
Your Reelax account will be permanently deleted from our active systems.
All personal data associated with your account will be erased.
Any data obtained via Meta APIs, including Facebook and Instagram access tokens, will be permanently deleted and revoked.
All connected social platform integrations will be removed.
Your profile will no longer be visible or accessible within Reelax.
Deletion is initiated immediately and typically completed within 30 days.
3. Meta Platform Data
If you connected your account through Facebook or Instagram:
We delete all platform access tokens.
We remove all stored platform permissions.
We revoke integration access.
You may also independently remove Reelax access from your Facebook account by:
Logging into Facebook
Navigating to Settings → Apps and Websites
Selecting Reelax
Clicking “Remove”
4. Data Retention Exceptions
Certain information may be retained if required for:
Legal obligations
Regulatory compliance
Fraud prevention
Financial reporting requirements
Backup or archival copies may persist temporarily but are securely stored and not used for operational purposes.
5. Confirmation of Deletion
Once your request is processed, you will receive confirmation via email or SMS.
